From standard homes to large-diameter facilities

What is UFB DUAL®?
UFB DUAL® is an ultra fine bubble generator nozzle installed directly on your piping. Installed downstream of the water meter or on a target line, it generates ultra fine bubbles in the water flowing through it.
With a single installation, UFB water can be delivered throughout the entire water system of a home, facility, or factory.

The size of ultra fine bubbles (nanobubbles)
Bubbles smaller than 1µm (0.001mm) are generally called nanobubbles or ultra fine bubbles — averaging just 0.1–0.2µm.

The Benefits of Ultra Fine Bubbles

Cleaning Effect
The fine bubbles break down biofilm — the slimy buildup commonly found around drains — and help prevent it from re-forming.
Why Choose UFB DUAL®
How UFB DUAL® Generates Bubbles
A proprietary cavitation method generates ultra fine bubbles directly from water flowing through the pipe. Rather than drawing in outside air, it refines the air already dissolved in the water. Because it relies on water flow, no power source or pump is required.
Inflow
Tap water flows into the piping
Flow velocity change
Local velocity changes as the channel narrows and widens
Pressure change
Pressure fluctuates as flow velocity changes
Bubble generation
Cavitation occurs from pressure fluctuation, generating ultra fine bubbles
Outflow
Water containing ultra fine bubbles flows out
Looking Inside the Pipe
Everyday use can cause slime, dirt, and biofilm to build up inside piping. By continuously flowing water containing ultra fine bubbles, UFB DUAL® helps maintain cleanliness inside the pipe.

Proven Effectiveness at a Dental Clinic
Shows potential for maintaining clean unit water lines and preventing clogging and biofilm. Comparing tubing before installation, 12 days after, and 80 days after showed a gradual change in buildup.

Evidence From a Dialysis Clinic Conference Presentation
Summarizes potential for maintaining RO membrane performance, dialysate line cleanliness, and reduced cleaning burden. Endotoxin levels and bacterial counts remained low, with stable flow rate, recovery rate, and conductivity observed in reported cases.

A patented structure
found only in UFB DUAL®.
UFB DUAL® uses a patented technology that releases ultra fine bubbles evenly from every port on the unit. While many competing products generate nanobubbles from only some of their ports, UFB DUAL® generates ultra fine bubbles from all outlets — delivering even, thorough cleaning power throughout.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does UFB DUAL® cost?
Pricing depends on pipe diameter (13A–50A), site conditions, and installation requirements, so we don't publish a fixed price list. Contact us for a free consultation and a tailored quote.
Will the water be shut off during installation?
Yes, a temporary water shutoff is required since the unit connects to the piping. Typical installation takes about 1.5–3 hours, only part of which involves the water being off.
Can any plumber install it?
In general, any contractor capable of plumbing work can install it. We can support confirmation of installation location and connection method as needed.
Does it affect hot water too?
Yes. Installing it at the main water supply also delivers ultra fine bubbles to water entering your water heater, benefiting hot water lines such as showers and sinks.
Can it be used with pipes that are already dirty?
Results vary by conditions, but it is used to help maintain cleanliness in existing piping. We recommend an inspection before installation.
Can it be installed in apartments or rental units?
It can be installed after the water meter for a unit. We have a track record of whole-building installations in condominiums; for rentals, we recommend confirming with property management first.
Where is the most effective installation point?
To cover an entire building, the downstream side of the water meter or the main supply line is typically ideal. For specific equipment only, installation by piping system is also possible.
Does it change the look, taste, or feel of the water?
It does not change the appearance or taste of the water. That said, some customers describe the water feeling “softer” in the bath or at the sink.
Is it compatible with pumps or storage tanks?
Yes, there's no issue. It can be installed to match the water flow of systems that use a storage tank or pump.
Can it be used with well water or seawater?
This requires individual assessment based on water quality and conditions. We review factors such as sand, iron, and scale content, seawater conditions, flow rate, and materials, and can propose pre-treatment or a custom design as needed.
Can it be installed at large facilities or an entire building?
We design installation plans around storage tanks and piping systems. We frequently work with general contractors and design firms on these projects.
